iPad 2 is my first Apple product so I will be on steep learning curve.
It's reassuring to know that help is at hand on a Forum like this.
Bye for now.:)

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Please read the rules too!!

Thanks Tim.
I have already downloaded the manual and am finding my way round the iPad basics pretty well so far but no doubt there will be things along the way that I don't understand .
I am really impressed with the versatility of the iPad about which I knew nothing until recently when our daughter gave me a brief demo on her iPad 2 and i was amazed at what it could do.
Cheers,
Keith

You're welcome, Keith!

If you don't know already, definitely browse the App Store categories to find the top apps (free and paid) in all categories. That's a good start to finding some of Apple's best apps. Then the "genius" function in the app store will find other apps based on what you already have. Searching the forum for people's suggestions is also a good route, too.

Thanks for the tip Lindsey.:)
I have got a Beginners Guide to Ipad which I am working my way through and there is a section further on about recommended apps for various topics and I will take a look the top recommended ones in the various categories at the apps store to decide which apps will be useful to have.
Cheers,
Keith
