I was just selected to pilot ipads in my classroom, and although I'm pretty capable with technology in general, I had never actually touched an ipad before. Sad. I know. Do you remember your life without an iPad? Well, I got mine last week, and the class set will be at my school by the end of next week, so I'm furiously working to learn how to use the ipad so I don't look like too much a fool in front of my students! I joined this community because every time I googled a problem, someone here had posted the clearest answer. You guys are awesome! I've been coveting an ipad for a long time, and I'm really excited to have the devices available to my students. Now comes the challenge of using them as thoroughly as possible! If you have ideas for ways to use the iPads with older (11- to 14-yr-old) students, I'd love to hear them!
