I have only had an iPad 2 for several months, and I am still learning how many things I can do with it. I originally purchased it so that I could check my email when my wife and I travel. But, I can see that there are many more opportunities to utilize it. Since the manual is only on-line, I decided to buy the book, "iPad for Dummies." I don't mind being a "dummy," and the book has been a great help. This is the first Apple product that I have owned, and it would have been helpful to have had an iPhone, iPod, etc. Looking forward to getting assistance through the posts on the Forum. Cliff, age 75 and still learning!

    Welcome to the forum!

There's a very good and free guide that you can download to your iBooks app on your iPad:

iTunes - Books - iPad User Guide for iOS 5 by Apple Inc.

Here's a link to a nice guide that you can view on your computer that will give you the most current information about using your iPad:

There are a lot of great people here willing to lend a hand anytime. Often using the Search box (at the top-left of every page) will lead you to the answers you're looking for. If not, feel free to post a question in the appropriate area.

Please take a moment to view the information here to get the most out of your iPad as well as our forum:
