Google 'Classic' now available on the iPad

For those of you who, like me, were 'ranting' about the new mobile Google interface some weeks ago, may have noticed that, now, at the bottom of the search results page you're able to select Google 'Tablet' or Google 'Classic'.

Sanity prevails and Google do listen to their users!!

Trouble is that it doesn't seem to 'remember' that I always want the Classic view and I have to select this for every time I visit the Google site. I would have thought they'd have used a cookie to remember my preference. Anyone found a way to get it to use Classic view every time?

I haven't seen a way to keep classic as the default, but I saved it to my bookmarks bar.
