Flag messages

How do I flag a message in case I ever want to in the future. Is it the same concept as saving a message on my laptop? If I then want to delete my flagged message is this straight forward to do?

I'm not certain what you are asking. It would help if you'd be more specific. Are you talking about Messages, Mail, this forum, or some other app?

In general flagging is just a way to mark something (an email?) as important. It does not save or keep your from deleting the email. Just puts a visible flag on it. Also, there is usually a way to view only flagged content.
