Evernote Was Hacked And Your (Encrypted) Passwords Got Stolen

I've noticed a recent uptick in spam, but can't tell what prompted it. I thought maybe Verizon was the culprit, because I signed up for its Redbox streaming video beta. But maybe Dropbox was my nemesis.

I haven't used Dropbox on my iPad or my PC in a while...maybe that's the reason? Don't know.

I don't think frequency of use would matter if they stole email addresses, but who knows. I barely use Dropbox. I have a bunch of cloud accounts, and I use them only selectively. Problem is, once we give any company our info, we have to trust that they build top-notch security, which is dicey, and even if they did, nothing is unhackable in tech.
