Deleting iBooks permanently

Hi,

I bought a book before and I didn't want it, so I deleted it from the bookshelf, however it still appears on the Purchased page. Just curious on how I can delete it?

As far as I know, everything you have bought through iBooks, whether it was actually paid for or free, will be in your list of purchases. This way you can delete stuff from your library to save room or to reduce the clutter, but you download a purchased item back to your iPad any time you want. All of the other apps like Kindle, Nook and the B&N reader work this way.
