Contents of an app

I wish to find out how one can find out the content of an app , for example. Crossword Solver, what is the contents and extent of the information contained

You can look at all the info on the App store listing and this should give you a fair idea of what it contains. We have a lot of apps that get discussed here and this may give you additional info on how good an app is. As for this particular app, I haven't seen it mentioned at all here but that's not to say someone hasn't discussed it.
