Calendar app invite others?

Can I invite others using the native app, cant find were, can only set appointment for myself.

I have an invitees option whenever I create an event. However I use a gmail calendar set up as an exchange account, I'm not sure if that option is available, if your just using the default ipad calendar.

EDIT: quick google and it does seem that you need a calendar setup as exchange or a me.com account for this option to appear. Although since icloud has come along perhaps a icloud calendar will also have it.

I'm not seeing that felid on my app

Maybe you're not on iOS 5 or your Calendar app is misbehaving. Try restarting.

More calendar app issues, now I cant even run it. When I start it, it stops.

All fixed!

Removed all calendars and created my google apps as exchange and now I can sync between google and iPad. Boy what a pita

My calendars synch fine with my POP mail accounts, so it's possible, in case anyone needs to.

It's been nearly two years since I first set up my first iPad, though, so I don't remember what I did. It can't have been that hard, because it's not like I'm a technical wizard.

I use POP mail specifically because I don't want my email to synch across devices, but all my other stuff does -- calendars, contacts, notes, etc.
