Hi all,

I have iPad2 with wifi and 3G however I'm yet to buy a sim card for it. Might be a silly question but am I still going to be able to join BT Open Zone networks? Anyone had any experience with it? Tips or tricks?

Cheers
ST.

I have an iPad1 3G and I have no problems with BT OpenZone or other free or subscription WiFi networks.

Welcome to IPF, Scottie :)

Tim is very clever with these things, so I'm not surprised he has had no problems with BT Openzone. I've never managed to get it to work!

When I use it you need to register. You go to the BT OpenZone page and, in the top right hand corner, there's a pull down menu on which the various BT OpenZone registration 'partners' are listed. Vodafone is there; select that and fill in the details and you're good to go.
