iPad and iPhone CAN be connected via Bluetooth, through the GameKit API, however Words with Friends does not use this feature. If you search the App Store for Bluetooth game you will find some programs that will connect between two Bluetooth devices. On an side note however, most airlines will not allow you to use Bluetooth in flight.
Thank you for that thewitt, I wasn't aware you could do this. Great to learn something new Sent from my iPad using iPF
Um, just search the app store and you I'll find plenty of Bluetooth connections between the iPad and iPhone. The Bluetooth File Transfer Protocol is not supported, so you will not find and generic PC or Mac to iOS device sharing, however Bluetooth can certainly be used by applications to move files between iOS devices.
