Block sender email address in apple mail on ipad

Hi

Would like to find out if it's possible to Block an email address as I have been receiving slot of crap, on my pc these get blocked through rules, is the a way to set rules on an iPad

You cannot set rules for deleting spam or other unwanted mail on the iPad. This needs to be accomplished by setting up those rules on the email server directly. You'll need to use webmail - say using the iPad's Safari web browser - and then establish the rules on your service provider's email server. There is no way to do this actually on the iPad itself.

Thanks for the info .... Will try blocking spam from mail server
