Your iPad can become a really awesome gaming device if you only know which are the right apps to download from iTunes. And if you are a lover of strategy card games, then you’ll be happy to hear that Blizzard has released a couple of days ago one of the best such games - Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. This digital card trading game was first released on the Mac in the previous month and now it lands for iPad users.

Pick up your cards and throw down the gauntlet! In Hearthstone, you play the hero in a fast-paced, whimsical card game of cunning strategy. In minutes, you’ll be unleashing powerful cards to sling spells, summon minions, and seize control of an ever-shifting battlefield. Whether it’s your first strategy game, or you’re an experienced pro, the depth and charm of Hearthstone will draw you in.

To put it briefly, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a strategy card game set in the ‘Warcraft’ universe where players compete in 1-on-1 battles, against the computer or other users via Battle.net. Those of you who are really passionate about the Warcraft series of games, will find this new game interesting.

You can build your deck with hundreds of additional cards as you play in practice matches against computer-controlled heroes of the Warcraft universe such as Thrall, Uther, Gul’dan and others. Your card collection is linked to your Battle.net account, so it’s synchronized across all of your devices.

The game is currently only available in select countries right now, such as Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, but it will soon launch worldwide. It comes with a size of 480 MB and is available in the following languages: English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish.
