I have 2 iPads (mine and my wife's) with different contents and apps, but using one Apple account and one mac computer with Apple OS 10.58. I backed up both iPads which have different names, but cannot find but only one backup I have looked into the file: User/MKL name/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ and I find only one backup file, although I synced both iPads and backed them up in iTunes.

Look in iTunes Preferences, the Devices tab to see you current backups.

If one the iPad's is missing, try backing it up again and see what happens: a new backup with that name, or the backup date changes.
