If your in IT im sure you are looking for some great iPad apps to help you out with everything you do from day to day. If you find any apps that are good for IT people post them in here so that we can check them out as well. Searching through the app store can be a pain and there have been apps that I have missed out on just because I never found it in the app store.

I'll start it off with a couple apps that I use durring my day as a Computer Tech.

#3 iNet Pro - Scan your network for devices, port scan. ping, Wake On Lan...
#4 ServerControl (free) - Browse network shares, shutdown/reboot, controle windows services.
#5 Ping (free)
#6 yFy Network Finder - wifi scanner
#7 WiFi Get - (free) wifi scanner
#8 eWiFi - wifi scanner
#9 Speed Test - (free) network speed test by cisco.
#10 Network Utility - (free) ping, port scan, GeoIP, Whois Query
#11 Server Admin Remote ($11.99) - Monitor Mac OS X Server Services on the go.
#12 HandBase - Database tool (i use it for PC inventory)
#13 LogMeIn - remote login to computer
#14 Live Cams HD - Monitor all your security camera's $0.99

Nice list Mike!

#2 VNC - (free)Remote into Mac or any pc running VNC

There are several VNC apps, none just named VNC that I found...
Which one were you referring to here?

The only free one I see is the Mocha VNC Lite version. Is that the one?

Also: It appears that Apple may have tightened control and is no longer allowing apps that search for wifi. (DB of wireless yeah, actual wifi scan, no). I think the 3 you mentioned like that have disappeared from the App store. or have been converted to search a DB of wireless networks.

Just to advise I have sticky the thread. I believe it is a special thread that serves many IT professionals and support people across all platforms. I only wish I had this when I was providing support.
Thank you MikesTooLz for your input

TeamViewer Pro seems extreamly expensive at $99.99 and requires software be installed on the PC/Mac. Have you tried the pro version or just the free. Would the pro version really be worth it?
