It has been awhile since we've heard any news regarding Apple's mythical iTV. Apple's CEO Tim Cook himself said that television were of great interest to the company, but as always with Apple, everything is a big secret.
Ahead of the iPad event today, Tokyo-based Advanced Research analyst Masahiko Ishino reports that Apple will be releasing Ultra HD 4K 55 and 65-inch iTVs.
The analyst believes that Apple's iTV will be at a price range between $1,500 and $2,500, which is a bit cheap since current 4K televisions go for upwards of $3500. Ishino was told by anonymous sources that LG will manufacture displays, Samsung will make the GPU, Corning the glass, and Foxconn will assemble the models.
