im looking for an app that will grab or save Instagram photos? I had one before but don't think it works anymore.

Is there a good/free app?

Thanks

Hi Trellaine, Instagram has an option to grab and save Instagram photos every time you post them. You should be able to grab them within Instagram.

If you're thinking of saving photos that people other than yourself have posted on Instagram, Instagram doesn't allow you to copy other's photos. To do so would be violating the copyright of the owners of those photos.

There is no option within instagram. Not sure what you mean. The only thing you can do is copy the url.

That's right. Instagram itself does not provide a method of copying photos you posted. You'd have to do that on your own. My point was that you'd not be violating Instagram rules by copying your own photos.

Your original post was not clear on whether or not you wanted to copy your own photos or those posted by others.

In your Instagram settings (the app), enable "Save Original Photos". Every time you post and edit one of your photos in Instagram, it will be saved to your Photos app, in an extra folder.

take the screenshot and then crop it
If you wish to do with some pictures only. Or, you can download from web, there're many sites supporting this (ask Google)

You can use the Share option with your own photos. Some of the options, like Flickr, will save an actual photo to the other service, where you may have more options.

What services show up depends, somewhat, on what apps you have loaded.
