Advise needed by new member.

    Hi, I am new to this forum but have been an iPad user some 6 years. The time has come for me to replace my ageing iPad (6 years) and I have been offered a new iPad, still sealed in original package but purchased in USA. Will it still be covered with Apple Warranty and do I need proof of purchase to register or might there be other difficulties?

    The one year limited warranty should be fine , but you will need proof of purchase r
    To register it. Apple support is fantastic, and helpful. Try the live chat or call them..... or text 504-72 to get them via their short code.

    Apple recommends keeping the receipt when you get a new device:
    Keep your receipt after you buy an Apple device

    You‘ll also need it if there‘s a problem with your iCloud ID (forgotten password, e.g.), so that they know this is your device. Otherwise they won‘t help.
