If a post hasn't been answered for a while, it slides down the list of posts and frequently doesn't get noticed, as most Members start with the most recent posts first. But if someone replies to your post, the whole thread is moved back up to the top of the pile - i.e. it appears as a recent thread. Some posters, if they haven't got an answer to their question, 'bump' their thread by posting a follow-on post. It's generally frowned upon to do that too frequently, but occasionally it's OK - perhaps if you have some further information that you want to add to the post. So, if you don't get a reply in a couple of days (it might take that long as it's an International Forum - time zones etc - then post a follow-up message and it will be bumped. But use the process sparingly, please.
