I personally like Pages, but I don't type much during the summer. I have to wait for school to see some real essays.

+1 for Fast_Key! Wish it could be the default keyboard.

Not I want to start a book and don't know what the best app would be

Lenc , why dont you try to use Manuscript or Daedalus, I think Manuscript can help us make chapters easily, like books and film scripts
