Why youtube app stop working on my ipad 4?

Maybe try closing the app down in the multitask bar by double clicking the home button and 'long press' the app until it jiggles and close it with the 'x'. If that doesn't help, try resetting the ipad by holding down the home button and power button together until the white apple logo appears.
