Want to connect iPad to projector to watch video on a large screen

I have the Optoma HD200x projector and wish to connect the iPad to the projector to watch films, TV shows stored or rented on the ipad as well Youtube videos. Can this be done?

Look for apple's hdmi adapter...allows you to simultaneously hook hdmi cable and iPad charger..
