T3 reports today that Vodafone has had a swift re-think regarding its recently announced iPad 3G data plans, which will kick into action when the iPad is launched in the UK on May 28th (you can pre-order your data plan now though in order to be ready to go at launch.) Doubtless this was after they realized they were much less competitive than rivals Orange and O2! According to T3, Vodafone has scrapped its original plans of £10 per month for 250MB and £25 per month for 5GB, and replaced them with the following tariffs: £10 per month for 1GB, £15 per month for 3GB, and £25 per month for 5GB. All Vodafone iPad data plans are on a 30-day contract, with no long-term tie in, which means that Vodafone is still the only one of the three UK iPad providers not offering a daily data plan.
