video on the iPad

Hello!

This is one of my first proper posts on this forum so I hope im in the right area. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a little problem I have been having, I've recently been experimenting with skype on my iPad and I came across some text on a site saying I can connect a camera to my iPad and video stream, is this true?

If someone could help that would be brilliant.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The iPad Skype app can receive video Skype calls but cannot originate them. It's a pity....

thanks for your help I've been researching this for a while now, it is a shame! I would of thought that some boffin would of come up with some wayto do video calling by now but I guess with the iPad 2 coming out and the rumours that it will have cameras attatched I guess they think they have no need.
