very simple question about apps

I am soooo excited to be getting an ipad for christmas that I have been looking through the app store and there are several that I want to purchase and a few free ones I already downloaded. My question is am I going to have an issue moving these over to the ipad? Should I have waited to get them directly on the ipad through the wi fi?

Should be no problem at all. Plug it in-iTunes should detect the second iPad as a separate device. Just like my iPhone and iPad run off the same desktop. I have the same apps on both-no issue at all.
