When I email images or upload them on to a we page they are often upside down or sideways when they arrive. Why is that and how can I stop it happening.

Hi Sueh.... - I'm assuming that you are referring to images that you TAKE on the iPad, so I'll address that situation (if not, please post back) - in general, for a portrait view the 'home button' should be @ the bottom; for a landscape view, the 'home button' should be to the right - try this orientation is see if your problem is corrected; for more information, check This Discussion; also, searching on this topic will bring up more hits, if needed. Good luck and let us know if this suggestion helps - :)

I have it right for portrait view but the wrong way round for landscape. However I mainly take portrait and the problem happens but I will do a couple of test photo and send them to friends to see what happens.

Well I did a test. I took a photo of the garden all 4 ways. The only one that was right was the landscape with the home button on the right. Both portrait pictures turned round, one upside down and one rotated sideways.
Any suggestions?

Make sure your iPad isn't locked to an orientation.

What you describe suggests that it is.
