Unable to sign into App Store ( tried many times with PWs)

Please help I have not been able to install apps from the IPad store. I am able to use passcode ok otherwise it just comes up invalid password. One Question does the email PW r email the same or does it change if I change the password ? Or
will it change automatically if I change my hotmail address ( this is the first time I have attempted to use Apps in the IPad store

To get Apps from the App Store you will need the password for your Apple User Account. This should be different from the password used for the actual email account.

It can be. If the email account is your Apple email, then it's usually the same as most of your other Apple sign-ins. It's only different if you created both in seperate actions.

What is different is your Apple Account and your iPad unlock password, unless you intentionally made them the same.

If you change your apple account password, it is sometimes necessary to sign out of the various stores and back in using the new password.

Also, anything that keeps you from being able to spend money in the App Store is guaranteed to get you free tech support from Apple. If you don't find your answer here, don't hesitate to contact Apple Support.

to be different from the Apple ID password.

Many thanks is the password stored somewhere secure ( ie on the Mac and can it be retrieved from there ? ie the Mac vault

It will be stored, but not retrievable by you unless you have deliberately set up Apple Passwords or similar. If you have forgotten the password, however, you can tap the field where it says “I forgot my Password’ and follow the instructions to reset it. This would be under your Apple ID in settings.

You're righy. I somehow missed that. Changing the hotmail password should have had no effect on the Apple account password.
