Typing a degree sign

Greetings all. Does anyone know if it's possible to type a degree sign on the iPad using the usual keyboard?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I'm assuming that you are talking about a small superscript zero representing a temperature degree using the regular native iPad keyboard (KB) - correct?

Well, give this a try - on the 'ABC' KB, press on the number 'zero' - 2 options will appear, slide your finger to the upper choice on the right - hold & release - this should provide your need - let us know if that worked! Good luck.

Thanks a million. I am "teaching" a bunch of 6th graders to use the iPad in class, and this was a real stickler. I am going to show them the forum as an example of collaboration.

I have also discovered some otherntricks from holding down the keys...... Very enlightening!
