Tumblr iOS App Gets Update

[FONT=&quot]Tumblr has issued an update to its iPhone/iPad app today, which it announced via its staff blog. According to the blog post, the app has been “recoded, rewired, and rethought from the ground up to offer you the very best Tumblr experience.†And they’re not kidding, either! The app now has a totally revamped interface, which ensures that the important features, such as browsing your dashboard, creating a post and managing multiple blogs are all within reach. The whole process of creating a post has also been made much easier with the update, with features such as sharing photos, videos, links, chats, text, quotes and audio all right there where you need them, and more advanced options such as saving drafts and queuing posts a simple swipe away. Other tweaks include the ability to view and reply to messages for all your blogs, a facility that enables you to find people to follow in your phone’s address book, and the ability to sign up for a Tumblr blog from within the app. [/FONT]
