Texting help

Hi gang sounds good except being so,new to the ipad3, I have no idea what "texting plus"is or where to find it. Sorry to be so dense but at 81 I'm just a little slo . So any help on it would be appreciated. I.E. where to get it and how to use it. TIA

Textplus is a free app available from the App Store. It allows SMS messaging anywhere in the US and Canada, including messages to groups.
