Hey all :) As we all know, if the name of an app is too long, it'll display name as such "Exa...mple". Is there a cydia tweak or any way to make it so the full name of an app will show no matter what, even if it has to scrunch the name or anything? Thanks for any help you can give me :D

I think it can be done by using iFile, after getting to Setting and turning 'Hidden Files' and 'Application Names' to ON. Modifying 'iTunesMetadata.plis' on the Application you are looking for.

There sure is a tweak. It's called Icon Renamer and it's free in Cydia. One of my favorite - and most used - tweaks.

How do I find the specific one for a specific app? And alsp, is it possible to use the same technique to rename a folder that I wanna give a longer name to?

And lols, thanks for the suggestion on the Cydia renamer thing, already have it and it works great, but it doesn't let me give apps or folders ectra long names, unfortnately :(

Well, it'll do you no good to bump, unfortunately. There is nothing "out there" that will let you name folders or icons anything longer than with 12 letters (or so).

It's just the way each icon takes the space on the iPad. The programmers only allotted so much space and, AFAIK, there's no way around it.

Sorry.
