I’m working more with Coda for iOS. When I select code, the selection will grab all but the open and close tags (and everything in between, including those tags) as indicated in red in this example:

<nav>link one</nav>

A) I don’t get why tags wouldn’t be included, and
B) is there a way to get selections to include tags?

thank you!

I don't know Coda, but in your example above I did a double-tap on the < and without lifting swiped right until the whole tag was selected. Sometimes that doesn't work, so I double-tap-hold to select the first character, then slide the right handle to select the rest.

This is not typical behavior for most text apps; so it’s probably a feature or setting in Coda. I’d ask them on their support site.

that sounds like a good suggestion. thanks!
