Select / Delete All

Hi,

Just getting to grips with my new iPad2. Loving it! There are a few niggles, most of which your site has helped me to sort out - thanks!

There is one issue I've not found an answer to: If I'm away for a while, I can end up downloading a couple of hundred emails at once. I'd like to be able to "select all", then unselect the ones I want to keep, and delete the rest. Is that possible?

Cheers for the help,
Adi.

There's no real way to do this on a non-jailbroken iPad - however, you can do it quite quickly. When you're in the InBox, in the listing of the emails on the left hand column, press 'Edit'. Then you can quickly run down the list and touch each email you don't want to keep (you'll see the little 'O' on the left hand side of each email that will indicate if it's selected) and then press delete. All the selected emails will be deleted at once - you don't have to open each email and then delete it individually.

Since, in your description, you'd have to run up the list deselecting the ones you want to keep, this is *almost* (though not quite) as quick.
