Can't help with video, but if you just want a screenshot just press and release sleep/wake and home buttons together. Look in your camera roll for the image.

I think you are asking, can you record video which is playing on your screen? If so I have not heard of an app that can screen capture video. Perhaps someone else has.....

Your iOS would need to be jailbroken if you want to record a video.

DisplayRecorder is the best video recording app I've tried from Cydia.

Oh,But even when iOS 6 jail break is out I won't jailbreak my device then I guess I gotta wait for a app.
