Safari crashing all the time

The screen will just fade black and not allow me to open any new tabs or close any pages

Is this the same for everyone else?

Not for me. Have you done a reboot on it?

It works normal if I switch my iPad completely off and on, but just a pain in the ass it happens multiple times nearly every day I use it. Didn't expect this crap from apple.

Another fix is to remove the app from the multi-task bar as this cleans up the app's context file. Double tap the Home button, hold any icon in the multi-task bar until they all start to jiggle then touch the top left hand corner of the Safari icon and that will completely 'close' the app. Either touch the main part of the screen or the Home button to close the multi-task bar and try again.
