Readdle announced today that its popular PDF Expert iPad app has just had a major update, including such new features as Retina display support for the new iPad, document thumbnails, embedded audio and video, PDF attachments and PDF Portfolio. Aside from the Retina display support, which Readdle says is one of the most wanted features requested by users, the new embedded audio and video feature lets you now watch videos and listen to audio files that are embedded in PDFs, which could come in very handy if you want to use your iPad for making presentations with PDFs. Another new feature enables you to view thumbnail document previews in the file manager. Also coming in very handy is the new ability to view PDFs that have assembled or attached files. PDF Expert was already a cracking app before this update, but this makes it even better.
