Radio from iPad to tv

Two questions - how do I listen to the app "tunein radio" from my iPad 2 through my hd tv?
And if I purchase apple tv can I do it that way? Thank you

Yes, you can do it with an Apple TV. I use mine to stream to my TV from my iPad.
