Try resetting your iPad:
Press and hold Home and Power button until the Apple logo appears.

You could also try to turn it on.

If it still doesn't respond, you'll have to restore it: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414

If this won't work, place your device into Recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
