Can anyone help? Installed ios 9.3 on iPad air, put in my 4 digit code then asked for my apple id & password...Can't remember password??

It's the same password you use to purchase iTunes and App Store content.

You can go here to reset your Apple ID password. If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If that doesn't help, there is, unfortunately, no way to bypass the requirement for your Apple ID password.
