Hi all, :)

An observation based upon my experiences here in Brazil.

1. *Problem and cause: When *a power outtage occurs in Brazil, the TIM data connection is lost entirely as the local TIM transmitter is dependent on the same Celpe provided electrial supply as the entire area of Alecrim. Once power is restored the TIM icon reappears with the signal strength indicator. However, access to the internet is impossible.
Resolution: the iPad must therefore be switched-off, having waited more than 30 secs, switch-on the iPad and this will fully activate the data connection to the internet successfully. In effect, this is a Cold Re-Boot!
