Number one won't go away

On my screen where the App Store icon is there is a number 1 that won't go away, I have done all the app updates and the 8.2 software update but it still is there, I have also shut down and restarted but still there. Any ideas or am I missing something

It will probably correct itself after a bit; but you can try going to the bottom of the featured tab and signing out, then back in to your account.

I just got an update for an app after two days and it went away, thanks
