Hi I am very new to an IPad. How do I delete the history of used appa that appear at the bottom of the screen when I double click. It is not showing me a cross to delete them individually. Must have done something wrong. Thanks

That is the Multi task bar along the bottom and it holds all the apps you have opened. Pressing on one till it jiggles will bring up a red minus sign, press this and it will close the app, not delete it. Its a good idea to close apps regularly.
