I am looking for insight on new IOs7 issues I am having. In my settings my iCloud, iMessage, and FaceTime are "greyed" out and I cannot access them. It works fine on iPhone 5. Any suggestions?

Thanks very much for your help. I did download latest IOS 7 book per your advice.
I did have the restrictions on, I am not sure why that would matter but I turned off.

I have an IPad 4, with the previous Latest iOS 6, if you double clicked the home button you could see all icons that were open and close them by holding it down until
A minus sign appeared in the left corner. Now I do not know how to get rid of the all the icons in the background. I am not sure if they are "running" and eating away my battery life. Does anyone have a suggestion?

To close all your apps, just do the 4 finger swipe up or double press the home button and then on each app you will see the screen just above them, just do a 1 finger swipe up on the miniature screen and they will be gone. These apps for the most part aren't using your battery but they do take up some ram by being there and it's best to close them completely if you've finished using them.

Apparently you can swipe up to three at the same time. Just use a finger for each item. Hard to do three on the iPad. Two, however, is quite easy.

Saw this on a blog post last night, just before going to sleep. Your post reminded me to give it a test.

It's not that hard to close three apps at once, provided your hand is big enough. I just tried it.
