iOS must have been a thorn in the side of virus writers since its inception, and there must be scores of them trying to find the way to do it. Windows isn't even fun any more. The guy who writes it will go down in the history of major pains in the butt as THE Apple killer, the man who brought the mighty Apple to its knees, so the effects will not be inconsequential.
The day you get an iPad virus, you'll know it.
