New guy on the block

My wife and I both have Ipads. Of course I get the hand me downs. She has been an Apple addict for years and Is usually one of the first ones to get a new Iphone or Ipad when they come out.
The first Ipad I got her for Mother's day some three years ago, maybe two whenever the first Ipad came out. We used it while driving from Pennsylvania to San Diego. What a fantastic tool for everything from sight seeing to making hotel reservations while doing 75 miles an hour.
We were able to use that first Ipad in Italy last April 2012 and again a perfect tool for the trip. We were able to get a local SIM chip at TIM (Italian coms company).
We are an Apple family and want to be part of this forum.
