My SIM looks a little different.. will it work in iPad?

Hi all,

I am traveling to China and bought a China Unicom WCDMA SIM card off eBay. A photo of it is attached. I want to cut it down to microsim size but it looks a little different than the SIMs I see in all of the demos, and it doesn't line up to my current AT&T microsim card. Can this card be cut down? Or am I out of luck?

I just cut one down like that for a German company. It didn't match my tMobile sim. After I cut it, it worked just great.
