Mute button not working

I just updated and i noticed that when i try to use the new mute switch it doesnt work (replaced the lock orientantion button) does anybody else have this problem. Like it displays the sound sign with a cross through it but doesnt mute the sound

Easy, just use the mute switch located directly beneath the

now crippled rotation lock button.

It's not a problem. The switch is functioning exactly as it was designed.

The mute switch is for system sounds only, not music, videos, games, etc. This mutes things like the keyboard clicking sound and any other notification sounds. That way you can listen to your music while browsing the web without hearing the annoying "tick tick tick" or being interrupted by a notification beep.
