Movie on the Ipad or from media

Hello

I have a (only) 16 GB ipad.

1. What kind of movie formats can i put on the ipad and do I have to do it with itunes?

2. 16 GB is'nt much... can i somehow connect a USB key or other media and play movies from this?

You can use anything formatted for Itunes which means m4v, and you can also stream movies from itunes from your computer on your local network.

Thanks... i'm going to use ipads in car, so no network.

But MP4 files loaded into itunes and then to the ipad, and not possible to use extern drive connected to the ipad?

Ipad only have 16 GB so not much space for movies
