Minimize apps

Is there a way to minimize apps on the iPad2?

No. Just switch to the next app. If your app supports background tasks or knows how to open back to exactly where it was, it will. If it doesn't, contact the developer and request they fix it do it does.

Switching back to the app by double tapping the home button and selecting the app from the tray works like minimizing as long as the app supports it.
