Mail app. always shows 2 mail

This just started my mail on home screan always show 2, even when there is no mail. Can I change it thank you all

In landscape view, tap the Mailbox button above the mail list until you see a list of in boxes anD accounts. There is probably a number next to one (if you have more than one) of the accounts. Just follow the number, tapping accounts then folders, until you find your unread emails.

Use the same Mailbox button (it may not say Mailbox) to back out of the folders when done.
